Welcome to Outback Dragons Dubbo

Outback Dragons Dubbo are a sporting and social dragon boat club who paddle on the beautiful Macquarie River. New members are very welcome and the club caters for paddlers with a range of fitness and skill levels from beginners to experienced sports paddlers.

Dragon boating is a low impact, aerobic and anaerobic activity suitable for all ages from 12 years of age and up.

Our boats are housed near Sandy Beach (see map) and we paddle on the straight stretch of the river between Sandy Beach and the Weir. We welcome new paddlers to any training session. Your first five paddles are free and then you may join the club if you wish. Contact Robyn on 0427 462 504 or email Outback Dragons for more information.

Our Dragons Abreast paddlers paddle in the sporting team but also form their own composite teams to paddle against other breast cancer survivors at regattas. We are indebted to them for all their hard work on our behalf. Everyone in the club is committed to supporting breast cancer survivors and raising awareness of breast cancer related issues.
